BREAKING NEWS- 26 year old British Super Bikes Racer Succumbs to Injuries

On Sunday, October 2, during Race 2 of the British Super Bike Championship at Donington Park, Chrissy Rouse suffered a heavy crash on the opening lap. Following the crash, he was struck by a following rider, who was unable to avoid Rouse. Rouse was treated trackside by the British Super Bike Medical Team, then transported to the medical center where he was placed in a medically induced coma. He then was taken to Queens Medical Center at University Hospital in Nottingham. There, he had an emergency neurosurgical procedure. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries on October 6. He was surrounded by his family and passed away peacefully.

Chrissy Rouse was quite the accomplished rider, having had multiple wins under his belt from multiple racing series. He competed in British 125GP Championship in 2011 and in 2013, in the Triumph Triple Challenge, he took 10 wins and managed to win the title with two races remaining. This was his first full season in BSB with Crowe Performance BMW Team.

Our condolences are with his friends and family, and we hope they receive all the love and privacy they need in this troubling time.
